HAUSBESUCHE
Die Hausbesuch-Kurzausstellungen verstehen sich als flüchtige Kunst-Interventionen im privaten Wohnraum, als ein kurzes Zusammentreffen von Privatheit und Öffentlichkeit.
Private Räume werden kurzfristig zum Kunstort: Der Kühlschrank, eine wilde Ecke, ein Bauernschrank, alles bleibt an seinem Platz und wird für einen Tag mit Kunst aus dem „White Cube“ konfrontiert, von Künstler*innen persönlich bespielt.
Die Gäste der Ausstellung halten sich für einen geplanten Moment in einem ihnen unbekannten privaten Raum auf
und begegnen der Kunst im ungewohnten Kontext. Die Gastgeber*innen stellen ihren privaten Lebensbereich zur Verfügung und erleben Künstler*innen samt Kunst und Publikum als „Kurzbesuch“ in ihren
eigenen vier Wänden.

The brief exhibitions „home visit“ are conceived as fleeting art interventions in private living spaces, as a transient encounter between the private and the public.
Private spaces are transformed into art venues for a short time: the fridge, a wild corner, a farmhouse cupboard - everything remains in its place and is confronted for a day with art from the "white cube", personally arranged by artists.
The guests of the exhibition stay for a planned moment in a private space unknown to them and encounter the art in an unfamiliar context. The hosts make their private living space available and experience artists, art and audience as a "short visit" within their own four walls.
